A Purple Potion is a craftable inventory item added in the 2020-04-06 update. When used, it grants the following for 15 minutes:
- x1.25 Capacity.
- x1.25 Convert Rate At Hive.
- x1.5 Red Pollen.
- x1.5 Blue Pollen.
- x1.3 Bee Gather Pollen.
- x1.3 Tool Pollen.
A Purple Potion buff cannot exist simultaneously along with Red Extract, Blue Extract, or a Glue buff. If any of these buffs are active when a purple potion is used, they will be overridden. Using a Super Smoothie will override the buff, due to the Purple Potion being included in its craft.

Trivia¶
- It is one of four consumables that can boost capacity, with the first being the Marshmallow Bee, the third being the Super Smoothie and the fourth being the Snowflake
- Prior to the purple potion being officially added to the game, there was a glitch that caused it to be obtainable from King Beetle and Tunnel Bear early. The item could not be seen in the inventory, but could be donated to the Wind Shrine, where it had the appearance of a basic egg and had no donation value.
-
Donating one purple potion to the wind shrine can give winds ranging from 5x-9x for 4-6 red/blue fields.
-
Purple Potion's raw ingredients cost:
- 150 Strawberries
- 150 Blueberries
- 30 Royal Jellies or 30M Honey
- 3 Neonberries
