Gingerbread Bear¶

Gingerbread Bear
"A cookie shaped like a bear! Gives 250 bond to the fed bee and has a 1% chance to turn that bee Gifted."
This article is about the item. For the similarly named Gingerbread Cub skin, see Cub Buddy.
Not to be confused with an Aged Gingerbread Bear.
A Gingerbread Bear is a unique type of treat that was added in the 2020-12-25 update. It is obtainable by checking Mother Bear's Gingerbread House, defeating certain mobs and bosses, opening Gift Boxes, completing Bee Bear's quests, giving Presents to certain NPCs around the map, completing NPCs Beesmas quests, using Onett's Lid Art, and buying certain Robux Packs.
Overview¶
Gingerbread bears have 2 functions. The player could save them up and spend it on Bee Bear's Catalog during the Beesmas 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025 events, or feed them to bees. In addition to granting bond, it has a 1% chance to make them gifted. They can also be saved up until the next Beesmas event, where they turn into Aged Gingerbread Bears.
The formula of turning a bee gifted: \((1-0.99^{x})\times 100\%\) (𝑥 is the number of the Gingerbread Bears fed to a bee)

- However, unlike Snowflakes, Gingerbread Bears are not removed from the player's inventory when Beesmas ends and are still obtainable and usable.
- This, along with the Star Treat and Aged Gingerbread Bears, are the only items in the game that can turn Event bees gifted.
- This and the Festive Bean are the only event items that are infinitely renewable outside of an event.
- Feeding 100 Gingerbread Bears to a bee does not guarantee to turn it gifted. The chance of it becoming gifted is around 63%.
