Blue Extract
The Hydroponic Planter is a reusable planter added in the 2021-12-26 update. Alone, it grows in about 12 hours and stores around 25 billion pollen. When harvested, it grants bonus Blue Extracts and Oils. It is purchasable in the Blue HQ. It requires the player to complete 150 Gifted Bucko Bee quests for it to be unlocked.

1 When planted in a field, it grows up to 50% faster in fields with blue flowers. Blue bees are 33.3% more likely to sip Nectar while red bees are 50% less likely to sip. When harvested, this planter grants 50% more blue pollen, but also 50% less red pollen. It also grants 40% more Comforting and Refreshing Nectar.
Harvesting a fully-grown Hydroponic Planter has a 2/9 chance of spawning a Puffshroom. The spawned puffshroom is between levels 6-7, and has a:
- ~72.59% chance of being a Common Puffshroom,
- ~21.78% chance of being a Rare Puffshroom,
- ~5.44% chance of being a Epic Puffshroom,
- ~0.18% chance of being a Legendary Puffshroom,
- ~0.01% chance of being a Mythic Puffshroom.

When claimed, the planter gives up to 35 tokens worth of items. If the planter was fully grown when claimed, 3 of the tokens are guaranteed to be 1 Blue Extract, 1 Oil and 3 Tickets. - This and the Heat-Treated Planter had models introduced in Beesmas 2021, but they weren't added as an obtainable item until Beesmas 2022.
- This is the blue counterpart of the Heat-Treated Planter, and its white counterpart is the Petal Planter.
- This is one of the five reusable planters to reside outside of Dapper Bear's Shop, the others being the Red Clay Planter, Blue Clay Planter, Petal Planter, and Heat-Treated Planter.
- This and the Blue Clay Planter are the only planters to be sold from the Blue HQ.
