Basic Bee is a Colorless Common bee. It is usually the first bee to be discovered and hatched.

Basic Bee can be only hatched from a Basic Egg, a Star Egg, or obtained through the currently unobtainable Basic Bee Jelly. It cannot be obtained from normal Royal Jellies or Star Jellies.

Basic Bee's favorite treat is Sunflower Seeds.

Basic Bee likes the Sunflower Field, Clover Field, and Mountain Top Field. It dislikes the Spider Field.

Trivia¶

Basic Bee is the only type of Common bee.
Due to the large number of appearances Basic Bee makes within the game and thumbnails, it is considered the main mascot of Re://:Swarm.
Basic Bee is one of three bees to have an official plushie on the Official Bee Swarm Simulator Website, the others being Tabby Bee and Vicious Bee.
The statistics for all other bees are described in terms of their difference from Basic Bee’s statistics. For example, +20 collection means that the bee it's describing has collected 20 more pollen than Basic Bee.
Basic Bee and Brave Bee are the only bees without abilities.
However, if they are in their gifted forms, they still can produce Inspire tokens.
And specific Beequips grants abilities like Focus or Melody tokens.
Because of this, during Bee Bear's "Ability Token Tidings" quest Bee Bear refers to Basic Bee and Brave Bee as "Poor little merely mortal bees".
- Bee Bear also says they aren't magic due to this fact.
Basic Bee and Event Bees are the only types of bee that cannot be obtained from a normal royal jelly since Basic Bee is a Common Bee.
The code, "DontUseThisJelly" (expired) gave a Basic Bee jelly that could be used on a bee to transform any bee into a Basic Bee.
Basic Bee and Demo Bee share the same skin color pattern when they are not in their gifted forms.
Basic Bee and Honey Bee possess the same colors but in a different pattern.
Basic Bee's gifted bonus used to give +20% Pollen, but it later got buffed after the 2019-04-05 update into x1.2 Pollen, so it can now increase with any additional pollen multipliers that the player has.

This may refer to the currently valid code called "Wink".
This also appeared in the thumbnail of the 2018-06-02 update.
Basic Bee is the only kind of bee to appear in every different version of the thumbnail for the game.
Basic Bee, along with Tabby Bee and Rascal Bee, are all of Onett's favorite bees.
This was revealed through Onett's dialogue.
Basic Bee's face appears on the bee menu icon, found near the top left corner of the screen.
Its face is also visible on Treats, Tickets, and the Beequip Case.
The chances of getting a Gifted Basic Bee from sunflower seeds is 1 in 12,000.
The same chances apply to Legendary Bees if you feed them their favorite treats.
The chances of hatching a Gifted Basic Bee from a Basic Egg is 0.348% (1 out of 287.35632184).
On very rare occasions, Basic Bee's face would disappear on most surfaces that use its texture.
Basic Bee, Tadpole Bee, Tabby Bee, Lion Bee, Puppy Bee, and Bear Bee are the only bees to represent realistic animals.
But only the Tadpole Bee, Tabby Bee, Lion Bee, Puppy Bee, and Bear Bee represent realistic animals if Basic Bee is not counted since all the bees in this game are bees.
Basic Bee, Brave Bee, Honey Bee, Lion Bee, and Windy Bee are the only bees in the game featured on a gate.
